Lighting installation in Lees from a local electrician. We're based in Lees and fit kitchen lighting, hallway and stair lighting and new fittings throughout the house, planned around how you use each room.

A single ceiling light leaves you working in your own shadow at the worktop. Under-cabinet lights put light where you chop and cook, downlights give even general light, and pendants over an island or table add a focal point. Each set can go on its own switch.
Stairs need good, even light so every step is clear. Switches at the top and bottom, and at each end of a long hallway, mean nobody has to walk in the dark. Low-level lights or a dim setting can light the way at night without waking everyone up.
If you're redecorating, refitting a kitchen or having building work done in your Lees home, that's the time to add lighting. Cables can go in before plastering, so there's no chasing into new walls later. Even a few extra light points can make a big difference.
Because we're local to Lees, we can call round to see the rooms and talk through what you'd like. We check the lighting circuits and suggest positions for lights and switches, then send a free quote with everything listed.
On the day, we fit the cables, switches and fittings, working tidily around your furniture. Everything is tested before we leave and you get a certificate. If we've had to cut into a ceiling, we tell you beforehand what making good is included.
Tell us what's wrong or what you need doing. For urgent faults we offer a same day response.
There's no call-out charge. We look at the job and give you a free quote before any work begins.
We finish the work, test it and leave you with the right certificate for the job.
Yes. Under-cabinet lights are usually LED strips or small puck lights fitted beneath the wall units. They're often wired from the existing lighting circuit with a separate switch. If the kitchen is already fitted, we run the cable neatly behind or above the units.
Yes. This is called two-way switching, and it lets you turn the landing or stair light on and off from either end. If your stairs only have one switch, we can usually add the second without much disruption, using the existing lighting cable where possible.
The cables should go in at first fix, before plastering or boarding, so they can be hidden in walls and ceilings. The fittings and switches go on at second fix once the decorating is nearly done. We can work with your builder or decorator on timing.
We can supply fittings, or fit ones you've chosen yourself. If you're supplying them, send us the details first so we can check they suit the room and the circuit. If you'd like suggestions, we'll recommend reliable fittings within your budget.
We also install lighting in these nearby villages.
Let us know which rooms need better lighting and we'll pop round, talk it through and give you a free quote.
