Kitchen electrical installation in Lees for new and refitted kitchens. We wire cooker circuits, worktop sockets, appliance supplies and lighting, working around your kitchen fitter, with a free quote first.

Kitchens need more sockets than most rooms, so think about where the kettle, toaster, microwave and charging will go. We plan worktop sockets, spurs for built-in appliances, a cooker circuit and lighting from your kitchen design, before the units arrive.
Electric ovens and hobs usually need their own circuit, sized for their combined rating. Built-in appliances such as dishwashers and washing machines are often fed from switched fused spurs above the worktop, so you can turn them off without pulling the units out.
The electrics need doing in two visits. First fix happens once the old kitchen is out and before plastering or tiling. Second fix comes after the units and worktops are in, when we connect sockets, switches, lights and appliances and test everything.
We start from your kitchen plan, marking socket heights, appliance positions and lighting with you. We check the consumer unit has space for a cooker circuit and any other new circuits, then give you a free quote and agree dates around your fitter.
At first fix, we run new cables and fit back boxes in the agreed spots. Once the kitchen is fitted, we return for second fix, connect the cooker, hob and appliances, and test every circuit. You get an Electrical Installation Certificate, and new circuits are registered.

As soon as the old kitchen is stripped out and before any plastering or tiling. That's when cables can be run into walls without damaging new finishes. We come back for second fix once the new units and worktops are in place.
Often, yes. Induction hobs can draw a lot of current, and many need their own circuit or an upgraded cooker circuit to supply both the hob and oven safely. We check the appliance ratings and your existing wiring before advising.
More than most people expect. Plan for every appliance that lives on the worktop, plus a few spare for occasional use and charging. It's much cheaper to add sockets during a refit than later, once tiles and worktops are in place.
Yes. We agree the layout and dates with your fitter, so the first fix is done before plastering and the second fix once the units are installed. Clear timings mean neither of us is waiting on the other, and your kitchen is finished sooner.
